BEHIND THE BRUSH

 

         Manda Norstrand is a freelance make-up artist located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Being a young woman with big dreams, Manda moved from her small hometown to the city of dreams with nothing more than her passion and determination of becoming a professional and successful makeup artist.

 

         Manda accomplished her goal of getting herself to LA and graduating from MUD (Make-Up Designory), the Los Angeles school of makeup, while freelancing and assisting celebrity makeup artists, and mastered her skills in all make-up looks from natural/beauty to high fashion/avant-garde.

 

         After accomplishing her goals in LA, Manda returned home to continue her career as a professional makeup artist and prove that she can be Oahu's top artist. 

 

         Declaring that she does not give beauty, but provides the skills to let one's beauty shine, Manda believes that "when you look better, you feel better, and when you feel better you can transform your life". Manda treats every job as a chance to prove herself; that she deserves to be at the top, giving every assignment her 100%. This girl is ready for the world.
